Why Human Trafficking Awareness Matters
Human trafficking is one of the fastest-growing criminal enterprises in the world, affecting millions of men, women, and children regardless of age, race, gender, or socioeconomic status. It is a modern form of slavery that exploits vulnerable individuals through force, fraud, or coercion for labor or commercial sexual exploitation. Raising awareness is essential because trafficking often occurs in plain sight, yet many people do not recognize the warning signs. By educating our communities, faith organizations, schools, businesses, and families, we empower people to identify potential victims, report suspicious activity, and support survivors on their journey toward healing and restoration. Every person has a role to play in preventing human trafficking. Through awareness, collaboration, and compassion, we can help protect the vulnerable, uphold human dignity, and build safer communities where every individual is valued and free
About Us
About Us
The FBI Seattle Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBI Seattle CAAA) was first established in 2005 by the first graduating class of the FBI Seattle Citizens Academy. It operates as a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit organization and is a network of graduates of the FBI Seattle Citizens Academy who consist of leaders from both the public and private sectors.
Members of FBI Seattle CAAA serve as ambassadors to the FBI in order to strengthen relationships, and improve the understanding between the FBI and the communities it serves.
Vision
Promote a safer community through community service projects and a process of educating business, labor, media, medical, minority, religious, government, senior citizens, and other community leaders about law enforcement, with particular emphasis on the mission, resources, and limitations of the FBI.
