Mission

The mission of the FBI Seattle Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBISCAAA) is to foster the special connection between FBI Citizens Academy graduates and the FBI in working for an informed and safer community.  The Association's goals include, but are not limited to: 

• Continue to communicate effectively with the FBI Seattle Field Office (the Community Outreach Specialist (COS) and the Special Agent in Charge (SAC). 

• Continue to provide support to the Community Outreach Specialist (COS) during each Citizen Academy class (Seattle) and any Citizens Academy class or refresher in the Seattle and Spokane areas.

• Strengthen the relationship between the FBI Seattle Field Office, the FBI Seattle CAAA, FBI National CAAA, law enforcement, and the community. 

• Review and enhance the structure and development of the board and committees. Review and clarify the roles of the committee chairs and teams. Develop an onboarding process for new board members. 

• Continue to provide support to the FBI Seattle Field Office through Community Outreach by providing education, awareness of transnational repression, human trafficking, swatting, sextortion and internet crimes such as elder fraud and other common scams.

• Review and develop committees to plan, implement and manage activities. Support the Community Outreach Specialist (COS) with the Teen Academy.
