Vice President

In the absence of the President or in the event of his/her death, disability, or refusal to act, the Vice-President, or in the event there shall be more than one Vice-President, the Vice-Presidents in the order designated at the time of their election, or in the absence of any designation, then in order of their election or appointment, shall perform the duties of the President. When so acting the Vice-President shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions upon the President and shall perform such other duties as from time to time may be assigned to the Vice-President by resolution of the Board of Directors.

Introduction of Caroline Song

Graduated from the Seattle Citizens Academy in 2024, joined the board in 2025 as Vice President

Caroline holds a Bachelor’s in International Relations and a Master’s in Sociology-Cultural Studies, she has gained extensive international experience

through both her work and studies. Her career spans several sectors, including research, government, education, corporate consulting, and nonprofit work. She also brings unique expertise in multilingual translation services, with experience across a broad range of industries. 

She is a firm believer in the value of diversity of thought and takes a deliberate, purpose-driven approach to her work, always emphasizing that impact outweighs intent. This commitment is reflected in her current roles, including serving as a board member for multiple nonprofit organizations in addition to FBISCAAA, an advisory board member for a leading university, and a co-founder of a nonprofit.
