The Treasurer manages the fiscal affairs of the Corporation, is responsible for keeping correct and complete books and records of account and supervising the billing and collection of dues. The Treasurer is authorized to pay bills of the Corporation arising from (1) expenses that officers incur in fulfilling their stated responsibilities and (2) incidental expenses that the Corporation may incur. The Board of Directors shall establish spending limitations and the process for approving expenditures in excess of such limitations by resolution. The Treasurer is authorized to invest currently unneeded funds in interest bearing savings deposits that are insured by an agency of the federal government and to perform all of the duties incident to the office of Treasurer and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned to the Treasurer by resolution of the Board of Directors. A financial report shall be submitted yearly at the annual meeting. The Treasurer shall not be required to give a bond for the faithful discharge of his/her duties.
Reverend Dr. Anna L. Jones
The Reverend Dr. Anna L. Jones ("Dr. Jones") completed the FBI Seattle Citizens Academy in 2024. Dedicated to her faith as well as her community, Dr. Jones is committed to making the world a better place through her congregation, fellowship and civic and civil activities and education. During the 126th Session of the Pacific Northwest Annual Conference, Dr. Jones was appointed Pastor of Walker Chapel AME Church on August 26, 2017 and has brought her vision, innovation and dynamic leadership to the congregation, and now shares those abilities and talents as the FBISCAAA Treasurer.
Dr. Jones' leadership experience, guidance and accomplishments - as well as her compassion and honesty - make her a valuable member of the FBISCAAA Board.
