Introduction of Ron Conlin

Ron grew up in Chicago, Illinois, moving to New Orleans in 1964, finishing high school and entered the USAF. Upon discharge from active duty he continued in the USAF reserve for over a decade. He joined the New Orleans police Department, retiring as a Detective in 1986. He majored in Criminal Justice at Tulane University. He then worked as a Risk Mgr. for a global retailer, retiring in 2011 when he started his consultancy as a court certified expert in premise liability and inadequate security litigation. He holds national certifications (CFE) as a certified fraud examiner and retired Certified Protection Professional (CPP).

He is currently the Washington State President for Crime Stoppers. He is also a long time Red Cross volunteer for the Life, Safety & Asset Protection function for the Northwest, including Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa and the CNMI Islands.

Ron is the Founding President Emeritus of the FBI citizens academy, class of 2005 and has served as committee chair for the Child Internet safety program within the FBICAA.
